At Bundesliga basketball team Alba Berlin, six professionals tested positive for the corona virus.
The Euroleague game of the German champions and cup winners against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, scheduled for Thursday, has been canceled.
"The cases were reported to the responsible health authority, which is now deciding on how to proceed," said a statement from the association.
There was already a positive result on Saturday after the Euroleague game at CSKA Moscow.
The Alba cup game last Sunday against the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig had to be canceled.
Last Friday, Berlin had won the EuroLeague against defending champion ZSKA Moscow.
Five more positive test results were added at the beginning of the week.
All six actors have been isolated and are now under medical observation.
All those involved who were on the trip to Moscow are already in quarantine.
The top division in Europe also canceled the games Zenit St Petersburg against Armani Milan (October 22) and Anadolu Istanbul against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne (October 23).
According to a rule change, EuroLeague games can be postponed up to three times due to Corona.
