Marcus Rashford did it again.
After the goal that lifted Manchester United to the quarter-finals in 2019 at the expense of PSG at the Parc des Princes, the striker scored the winning goal in the opening game of the home leg yesterday (Tuesday), at the exact same stadium against the same team.
The English striker won compliments but chose to compliment manager Ola-Gunnar Solskjaer himself, whose method, according to Rashford, was the cause of the victory in Paris.
"I think it was on the manager tonight," Rashford said at the end, "his method allowed us to express ourselves on offense and be strong on defense, as we did pretty well in my opinion. Of course it's a big win and a great position to be in because we have a lot more Things are getting better. "
The striker added: "It was a good performance, one that we have a lot to build on. I always believe in the team, as players it is important to believe in the method the manager wants us to play by. Tonight we did it fantastically."
