Now it's official: the league administration has announced that the opening of the 2020/21 season will open on November 1 after receiving approval from the Ministry of Health, when the dates for the first six rounds have also been set.
The league will open in the third round, in an attempt to retain the original round dates despite the season opener being postponed.
A considerable number of games will be postponed because of the Winner's Cup and also because some of them will take place in the middle of the week and will clash with the schedule of the teams playing in Europe.
The goal is to complete all the games as early as possible.
The administration has updated in recent days the teams the game schedule this season will suffer from many changes and quite a few game shifts due to the special situation and the teams have to prepare for it. The manager will be as careful as possible to try to maintain an interval of at least 72 hours between games of the same team, but there may be cases where the difference will be less due to various constraints.
