Amara Studmeier, who last season played for Maccabi Tel Aviv and left it, is retiring from basketball and joining the Brooklyn Nets as an assistant coach.
The forward / center, who played six times in the All-Star Game and left the NBA in 2015/16 for Hapoel Jerusalem and then for Maccabi Tel Aviv, is finally hanging up his shoes and will return to collaborate with Steve Nash, with whom he starred for years in Phoenix.

Most of Studmeier Bents' work will be with an emphasis on player development and according to reports one of the goals will be to build collaboration and high pick and roll ability between Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
