Hapoel Holon defeated Hapoel Gilboa / Galil 87:88 and after five consecutive relegations in the quarterfinals, they advanced to the semi-finals of the Winner's Cup, where they will meet Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday.

The team built this year in Holon will provide us with a roller coaster of capacity and results.

On the one hand a collection of talent and quality players, on the other hand instability, problems under the baskets and a game built on energies and shooting off the arc (29 shots for 3 versus 23 shots for 2).

When the shots for three enter Holon can beat almost any team in the league, but when the balls do not enter the problems begin, and in the first half we could see the most prominent of them - sparsity in the front line.

Holon's players took only 5 rebounds in the first 20 minutes, something that even the great historians of Israeli basketball had a hard time remembering when it last happened.

Only the threes left them close.

In the second half, the fight for the rebounds was balanced, the threes continued to dive in (15 by 51 percent) and Holon remained close until the middle of the last quarter where CJ Harris and Tyros Maggie (15 points in the second half) took control of the game and arranged the dramatic victory despite Yogev's injuries. Ohayon and Oded Brandwein and despite harsh allegations against the verdict.

Despite the loss, Gilboa can be very pleased with the ability.

According to the games in the Balkan league and before the season, it seems that Lior Lubin's team stands out as a pleasant surprise of the season ahead, a direct continuation of the successful end of the Corona season in July.

Guard duo Yiftach Ziv and Joe Thomson continued from last season and the continuity as we know, pays off.

Ziv looks confident and in excellent shape, just a pity for the unnecessary offense 9 seconds to go.

Thomasson did not stand out and also missed three from half a yard right on the buzzer, but he too will contribute much more this year to the Northern team.
