Winner against Real last week (3-2), Shakhtar Donetsk - who drew against Inter earlier (0-0) - takes the lead in this group B ahead of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Inter Milan and therefore Real Madrid, last with a point.
It could have been worse for the Spanish champions.
