The sports field of TSV Perchting-Hadorf is crossed by car tracks.

He was willfully beaten by strangers.

Football department head Michael Kuch is looking for the perpetrators.

Perchting - It must have happened sometime between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Before and after, says Michael Kuch, someone was always there.

“And everything was fine.” But when the football department head entered the sports grounds of TSV Perchting-Hadorf on Sunday to prepare it for the upcoming home game of the men's team, the shock hit him with full force.

The training ground: crossed by car tracks.

Grooves up to ten centimeters deep make their way through the lawn.

Kuch emphasizes: "A picture of destruction."

For the club this means that the training ground is closed for the time being.

"The risk of injury that a player kinks in one of the many furrows would be too great," explains Kuch.

Instead, the units of the twelve teams that train weekly at TSV will now take place on the main square.

It is actually only intended for games and is usually spared accordingly.

"But nothing helps now."

The association has filed a complaint against unknown persons

TSV Perchting-Hadorf can probably maintain its training operations despite the closed place.

Of course, Kuch and Co. don't want to accept the senseless destruction of their lawn.

The association has already filed a complaint against unknown persons.

However, the head of department rates the chances of success as low.

“The action was probably over in a few minutes,” he says.

"But maybe someone happened to see something after all."

In order to increase the chance of catching the culprit, the association immediately published pictures of the tire tracks on the internet via social networks.

The Facebook post alone had been shared over 100 times by yesterday afternoon.

"The whole thing goes around very quickly," says Kuch.

But so far it has not worked.

"Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the first call."

Damage estimated at around 1000 euros

Whether the culprit or culprits are ultimately found or not - it is clear that the TSV must bring its training ground back into shape.

The grooves need to be filled in and new lawn sown.

That costs time and money.

Kuch estimates the damage to be around 1000 euros.

"We'll manage to make it fit," says the head of the division.

"But this whole action is just unnecessary and extremely stupid."

Similar incidents had occurred in the spring of last year elsewhere in the district.

The sports fields in Weßling, Percha and Breitbrunn were affected at the time.

Eyewitnesses wanted

Anyone who can provide information about the crime or has seen something suspicious should contact Michael Kuch at z 01 60/93 90 12 01.
