FC Bayern also won against Russian runner-up Lok Moscow, but had to tremble. Munich benefited from a particularly effective move - and a courageous Joshua Kimmich.

FC Bayern also won the second group game of the new Champions League season.

At 2: 1 (1: 0) the game was open for a long time after an early goal by Leon Goretzka (13th minute).

Anton Miranchuk equalized for Lok Moscow (70th), before Joshua Kimmich decided the game with a remarkable goal (79th).

After the convincing 4-0 win against Atlético Madrid last week and the away win in Moscow, Bayern are leading Group A ahead of Atlético.

Across the season, the defending champion has played 13 victorious games.

The Russian runner-up played 2-2 at FC Salzburg at the beginning.

The starting position spoke clearly for the defending champion from Munich.

Only three minutes were played when Moscow's most successful goalscorer, Fedor Smolov, headed freely from a cross from the left.

However, his degree was too central and therefore easy for Manuel Neuer.

Bayern increased the pace against the deeply formed home team, who did not even play with attack pressing.

Robert Lewandowski failed after a corner kick, the opening goal fell shortly afterwards after a successful attacking combination: Corentin Tolisso cleared right-back Benjamin Pavard with an opening diagonal ball from the center.

The Frenchman carried it directly into the penalty area, where Goretzka hit with his head (13th).

Ten minutes later it was the same move by Munich that Kingsley Coman could not use in the middle.

His shot attempt bounced off the left post.

Hansi Flick had exactly the same starting XI as against Atlético, but Bayern played less dominantly than in the previous week.

Moscow did not reward itself for a committed first half, shortly before the break, Smolov's graduation missed the gate on the left (42nd).

A stolen penalty kick - laissez-faire behind

For the third time, it was the typical Munich move that almost resulted in a goal: Serge Gnabry steered Lucas Hernández's diagonal ball from the far right to Kimmich in the middle.

But he also failed from very close range, defender Slobodan Rajkovic blocked decisively (57.)

In the 63rd minute, Lewandowski was stopped unfairly and was awarded a penalty.

The video referee intervened because Lewandowski had previously been sidelined.

Coman missed a good chance after a one-two with Kimmich in the 69th minute.

The home team, cheered on by around 6000 spectators, tried it again - and finally rewarded themselves: After a flat cross, it was Anton Miranchuk who pushed the ball past Neuer into the goal (70th).

Lok Moscow then tried it against high-standing Munich, Kimmich took their hope: The defensive midfielder accepted a pass from substitute Javi Martínez 20 meters from the goal and shot from the turn exactly into the far left corner.
