Football: Angevin Bahoken arrested for domestic violence

The Angevin club, current eighth in Ligue 1, would have gone well.

According to the Courrier de l'Ouest, Stéphane Bahoken, (28 years old) his attacker, was arrested on Tuesday and placed in police custody at the national gendarmerie.

The former Strasbourg resident is suspected of threatening his partner.

The domestic violence would have taken place during confinement and during the month of October.

The victim, who had a child with the player, was prescribed a one-day ITT.

Bahoken admitted the facts and refused the assistance of a lawyer, adds Le Courrier de l'Ouest.

It must now be presented this Wednesday to the public prosecutor, in order to be "tried within the framework of a procedure of appearance on preliminary admission of guilt", added the prosecution.

This is not the first time that Angevin has come into conflict with the law.

In August, the Angevin had crossed a white line while driving, then attacked the other driver, an off-duty officer.

Facts for which he will be summoned on December 3.
