"Don't play with him": angry Benzema dissuades Mendy from serving Vinicius Jr

There could be a little explanation session between Karim Benzema and his attacking teammate Vinicius Jr in the next few hours at the Real Madrid training center.

Since Tuesday evening, a video has been running on social networks showing the former Lyonnais criticizing the performance of a player, probably the Brazilian, by addressing his compatriot Ferland Mendy.

The scene takes place in the corridors of Borussia-Park, the Mönchengladbach stadium, where Real Madrid traveled to the Champions League on Tuesday night (2-2).

Moments before returning to the field, Benzema discusses with the French side, taking care to cover his mouth with his hand in order to be more discreet.

But the microphones recorded the exchange.

This one is brief but straightforward.

"He does what he wants.

Brother, don't play with him!

He is playing against us, ”storms the French attacker in a low voice.

Next to him, Federico Valverde, Thibaut Courtois and Vinicius Jr precisely, await the return of the referee.

Ferland Mendy, who plays at the left-back position, often crosses paths with Vinicius who occupies the same flank at the forefront.

The young French international also regularly combines with the Brazilian but like the first period completely missed by the men of Zinédine Zidane led 2-0 after the first period, the duo were rarely found in Germany. 

Other images show that Benzema and Mendy continued their discussion by finding the pitch in the center circle, then a little later in the company of Vinicius Jr. The three men appear to be debating their placement on the pitch.
