According to a U.S. report, Philadelphia '76 officials are in advanced negotiations to hire Daryl Murray as president of the team's basketball affairs.
The deal is expected to be signed in the coming days, and current general manager Elton Brand is expected to remain in office, according to a report on ESPN.
The Sixers' talks with Daryl Murray began shortly after he left Houston, escalating in recent days and culminating with Murray's appointment as the team's new president.
ESPN added that Murray has a good relationship and a shared history with Doc Rivers, the team's new coach.
