It was to mark the start of the European campaign and also the return to competition of the France team after the disaster of the last Euro, last January.
The decision was taken by the European federation (EHF), which was previously informed of the inability of Belgian players to train for a month by the Royal Belgian Handball Union.
The latter relayed the report on its site and on social networks.
The European Handball Federation officially informed the Royal Belgian Handball Federation on Wednesday morning that the two international matches scheduled for next week are postponed to a later date.

"Obviously, we would have preferred to play the international matches
(Editor's note: Belgium-Serbia is also postponed)
scheduled for next week, but given the current situation in our country, that was not possible and that would have been irresponsible", explains Jean -François Hannosset, the president of the Belgian federation.
