A tragic incident has been reported in Jamaica in the last hour.

Contact Malik Foster, who played last season for Izzy Sheretsky's Kiryat Shmona, was shot tonight (Tuesday through Wednesday) in Portmore, at the end of a party with his friends.

The media also reports that the 24-year-old poster, who in Kiryat Shmona chose last summer not to exercise the option on him, was rushed to the local hospital with several shots in his upper body and especially in his neck.

Local police are currently investigating the case, as no suspects have yet been arrested in the criminal case.

"Foster is fighting for his life in a hospital after he just wanted to hang out with his close friends," the local media wrote, "He is in the midst of emergency surgery at the hospital after being shot by unknown individuals, who fled the scene."
