According to an ESPN report, the Houston Rockets have found the replacement for Mike D'Antoni in the position of head coach.
This is Stephen Silas, who has served for the past two years as the assistant coach at the Dallas Mavericks.
Reporter Adrian Wojnajowski reported that the parties were close to concluding a deal, and also said the Rockets were enthusiastic about his offensive approach, and his work with guards with whom he collaborated such as Luka Doncic, Kamba Walker and Steph Kerry.
Silas has been an assistant coach in the best league in the world since 2000, and has moved to Charlotte, New Orleans, Cleveland, Washington, Golden State, and Dallas, among others.
Now he is getting the reins for the first time in the position of head coach, and he comes to work with the pair of guards among the best in the league - Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
