After a long absence from the pitches, Yuval Sussman is slowly approaching a comeback.
While recovering from a tear in his back thigh muscle and preparing to return to training next month, the Maccabi Tel Aviv guard answered questions from fans as part of a zoom call, and provided some interesting statements.
"I have an MRI and I am nearing completion in the recovery stages. I miss you very much, it is hard for me to be without doing something on the pitch. It is something I am missing. I promise you will see me soon and hope I will make you as happy as possible," Sussman said of the injury.
On Yannis Sapropoulos: "I think he knows how to read actors and situations. I always tell people close to me that he is a kind of psychologist, one who knows how to read people and what they do. He works hard, must give 100 percent all the time and net professionalism."

On the NBA dream: "In the draft you can sign up or leave. I stayed and was not selected, so I ran out of chances to get in through the draft and now I can only get in through a contract. I had training with Philadelphia and Cleveland and they really liked me."
On his defensive abilities: "Defense is game wisdom, understanding how to be at the right time and in the right place. One has to be nimble with the legs and be sharp in terms of the senses. My arms are long and it helps me, but what matters is the right second to get out and snatch."
On the toughest player he has had to keep: "I personally had the hardest time dealing with Jacoben Brown. He knows how to control his body and he is unpredictable. You do not know how he will attack you. In the Euroleague there are of course Nando de Colo, Shane Larkin and Mike "James. I'm not afraid of anyone. The advantage is in the hands of the attacking player and I try to interrupt them."
