Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be the big story at Juventus, even when he is disabled.
The old lady lost yesterday (Wednesday) 2: 0 to Barcelona, but while the team showed alarming ability, the star who did not play because he had not yet come out negative in the Corona test made headlines himself.
It all started because of Ronaldo's reaction.
On the morning of the game, the Portuguese star wrote on Instagram: "I feel good and healthy," adding: "Corona tests are bullshit."
Ronaldo's dismissive attitude towards the tests, combined with his controversial conduct around the isolation he was charged with, continues to provoke agitated reactions in Italy.
Last night, senior officials in the Italian Ministry of Health responded to Ronaldo, trying to use his statements to streamline public information about the importance of tests.
"No Corona denier knows what he's talking about, even if he's talking like a specialist doctor. Tests are of immense importance," said Roberto Bourioni, an Italian virologist who is well known in the medical community in the boot country.
Burioni added sarcastically: "Welcome to my new colleague, Cristiano Ronaldo. I congratulate you on joining the Italian virology community. You can certainly help us in the derby against the ophthalmologists."

A criminal investigation is currently underway in Italy against Ronaldo on suspicion of violating Corona's guidelines when he flew from Italy to Portugal contrary to instructions, in order to join the team.
A few days later Ronaldo was found positive for the virus, and flew in a private plane with special medical equipment to Turin to transfer the isolation at his home in Italy.
Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadapura has in recent weeks become a fierce critic of Ronaldo, accusing him of irresponsibility and misconduct which is a bad example to millions of his fans around the world.
