Farid al-Malali, Ange's Algerian attacking player who was arrested about six months ago after being caught masturbating in public while peeking out the window of one of his neighbors and then arrested again for public undressing, appeared in court today (Thursday) and received his sentence.

Al Malali, 23, confessed to the acts and was sentenced to six months in prison for sexual offenses against the two young women who complained against him.

He was also fined 2,000 euros and also required to compensate the complainants - one for 2,300 euros and the other for 1,600.

He will now also face a suspended sentence of 18 months in the case of a similar offense and he will have to undergo psychiatric treatment.

This season, Malali has managed to make two appearances in the Anja uniform, which is in eighth place in the senior French league.

He was suspended after repeated delays in training and as a result was also released from the squad after two years, during which he scored three goals in League One.
