The Israeli Athletics Association today (Thursday) published a post on social media calling on athletes, coaches, club and association managers and of course sports fans, to demonstrate near the home of Health Minister Yuli Edelstein, in protest of the sports shutdown and with the goal of getting the sport back on track soon.
"Minister Edelstein does not plan to open an activity soon and we will not sit quietly at home. The morbidity is spreading mentally and physically and the children and youth may drop out of the frameworks," the post said.
The demonstrations will begin today in the Verisland Garden in Herzliya at 18:00.
