Is Tomer Hemed on his way to a new station?
According to a report in New Zealand, the Israeli striker is about to sign with local team Wellington Phoenix, which plays in the Australian league, and finished last season in third place behind Sydney FC the champions and Melbourne City.
In New Zealand, it is claimed that "the 33-year-old Israeli striker is in advanced talks with the club", and he is supposed to replace Gary Hopper, who is leaving for the Indian league after a year.
The report notes the impressive resume of Hemed, who, among other things, played in the Premier League and the English Championship.

Hemed began his European career in Spanish Mallorca, where he played for three years.
In 2014 he moved to Almeria, but at the end of that season it was relegated to the Spanish sub-league and the following summer he was sold to Brighton for about 1.5 million euros.
Hemed played for a team from the south of England for three years and helped it return to the Premier League after many years, before being loaned to KPR in the summer of 2018.
Last year he returned to Brighton and was immediately loaned out to Charlton, who in the media spent the past season.
In the summer his contract with Brighton ended and he became a free agent.
