2020-11-04T19:22:26.474Z

Thomas Tuchel did with the means at hand and will line up the expected starting team for this meeting. His midfielder will be very defensive.

The starting lineup unveiled by PSG to face Leipzig this Wednesday evening (kick-off 9 p.m., match broadcast on Téléfoot and RMC Sport 1), is no surprise.

It must be said that Thomas Tuchel was not spoiled for choice, in the absence of a good part of the titular team (Bernat, Verratti, Mbappé, Neymar, Icardi) and because of Kehrer's return from injury. and Paredes, too fair to begin with.

If he sets up his team as in last training, Thomas Tuchel will play his men in 4-3-3, with midfielder Danilo Pereira once again in central defense and central defender Marquinhos in midfield.

An "inversion" which is the talk of the Parisian locker room but in which the German manager firmly believes.

In the middle, the Brazilian will be surrounded on his right by Ander Herrera and on his left by Idrissa Gueye.

The Senegalese midfielder will try to repeat his performance a year ago against Real Madrid in the only match played without Neymar and Mbappé in the Champions League since the summer of 2017. Offensively, Di Maria had taken control with a double.

He will start on the right of the attack, as usual, with Moise Kean leading the way for the 7th Champions League meeting of his career.

Pablo Sarabia will play on the left side.

In the Leipzig team, the four Frenchmen Ibrahima Konaté, Nordi Mukiele, Dayot Upamecano and Christopher Nkunku are holders.

The starting eleven:

Navas - Florenzi, Danilo Pereira, Kimpembe, Kurzawa - Herrera, Marquinhos (cap.), Gueye - Di Maria, Kean, Sarabia.
