The Egyptian Football Association announced that Mohamed Salah, the star of the Egyptian national team and the English Liverpool team, had been infected with the Corona virus.
The Egyptian Federation revealed in a statement today on its official website that the swab conducted on the Egyptian team players showed that Salah was infected with the Corona virus while he was with the team’s mission, and he will be subject to a medical protocol after coordination between the Egyptian national team coach and Liverpool club.
The Egyptian national team is scheduled to play its next match against its Togolese counterpart next Saturday evening in the third round of qualifying matches for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
