Swedish striker AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the Ballon d'Or as the best player in Sweden for the 12th time in his career and the first in 4 years.
The 39-year-old is considered the most award-winning player and Sweden’s top scorer in all times, having scored 62 goals in 116 international matches and is currently starring with Milan, where he won the Ballon d'Or for the first time since 2016, the year he retired from international football.
"As no other player has won it more than twice, with his unique personality, Ibrahimovic extended his career in the stadiums with another great page with Milan," the jury said in the terms of awarding the award to the veteran striker.
