Ethiopian runner Yalemezerve Yhulao, 21, set a record as the second fastest time in the history of the half-marathon in the competition held today in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
Yehulao covered the race distance of 21.09 kilometers in one hour, four minutes and 46 seconds.
The record for the women's half marathon was one hour, four minutes and 31 seconds.
Ethiopian Amdurek and Aliljen also won the men's half marathon with 58 minutes and 53 seconds, which is the third fastest time in the race this year and a record at the level of the Indian capital championship.
On the other hand, the Chinese Jia Eeringia and Li Chikuan won first places in the men's and women's categories in the Shanghai Marathon that was held today.
Jia completed the race distance of 42.195 km in 2 hours 12 minutes 44 seconds while Lee crossed the finish line in 2 hours 26 minutes 39 seconds.
