As before almost every game of Maccabi Tel Aviv, yesterday (Saturday) coach Georgios Donis did not practice the car ahead of tonight's game against Hapoel Kfar Saba (20:45, Sport1).
Precisely this fact gave some of the team players the feeling that the Greek will not make too many changes in the squad tonight compared to the one he opened against Villarreal on Thursday.
One forced change though will be for sure and that is the release of Dan Glazer from the 11th after he was injured on Thursday in a collision with an opposing player.
Glazer is still in pain when he runs and there is also concern that the wound will open during exertion after being sutured in five places.
So he has not trained in the last two days and will try to prepare himself for the important game on Thursday against Karabakh in the Europa League.
Donis was debating over the weekend how to get up tonight for several reasons.
On the one hand, he now considers the league in the country very much and wants to climb up the table to the top.
Although the main rival for the title is Maccabi Haifa and it also lost many points last week so it does not run away, but Donis is a stranger here, does not yet know Israeli football well enough and for him he does not take lightly that the leaders are relatively small teams like Maccabi Petah Tikva and Kiryat Kiryat Eight, who in Israel do not predict that they will run to the end.

A Maccabi Tel Aviv player said this morning: "Nothing will surprise me towards the evening. Even if Peshich and Yonatan Cohen continue in the squad together and even if Schechter returns to eleven and next to him opens Elon Almog. We are getting used to this reality and everyone should be ready."
