The edge game in Nahariya ended as expected.
Maccabi Tel Aviv maintained a perfect balance (0: 4) tonight (Sunday) in Ein Sara against Nahariya, which is still without a win (5: 0).
At the end of an evening that was mostly pretty close, the Yellows defeated the Northerners 81:98.
In the final game of the first round in the league, Maccabi did not register Scotty Wilbkin, Ante Zizic and Tyler Dorsey, showed very mediocre ability for almost 34 minutes but a 4:21 run at the end gave her some reasons to smile after the loss in the Euroleague to Armani Milano.
Elijah Bryant provided a tremendous performance with 25 points, 90 percent from the field, 4 threes and a 33-point index. Maccabi had an overwhelming advantage on the rebound: 20:42.
If Nahariya had been playing since the beginning of the season as they had played for three and a half quarters, their situation would not have been so difficult, but against Maccabi Tel Aviv, the great improvement in the personal ability of the key players was not enough.
It opened 3:14 for the Yellows, but the hosts from Ein Sara came into the game and until the half led 45:47 when they scored no less than 80 percent to 2 points.
Joe Alexander who did not start the season well was excellent with 21 points on almost 70 percent of the field.
Dominic Waters, who has averaged 4 points to date, has scored 17 in this game.
The trend continued at the beginning of the third quarter with the Purples rising to 53:58.
John Dibertolomeo in his second game since returning from injury and Chris Jones got Maccabi back on track and the result at the end of the quarter was a 65:65 tie.
At the beginning of the fourth quarter it went on evenly, but then Maccabi knew how to increase the pace while Nahariya got the air.
From 77:77 it jumped to 77:92 on the way to a 17-point gap at the end.
