We give athletes eight million shekels on scholarships every month and year In February it turned out that there is no Olympics and yet we decided not to lower the high scholarships in the Olympic year and not to hurt the amounts they receive in a normal year. Our income decreased this year so we thought the only thing that could be lowered was the incentives given to the championships. It also makes sense that not all the championships took place this year. Instead of 12 that should have taken place in 2020 in the various disciplines, there were only 5 championships. Athletes who canceled the competition could not win the incentive. "It was in August. It is a decision and it is important that they know that it was made in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, which is a partner in these incentives."

They said there was no income and they dropped. We did not touch the monthly scholarships which I said were increased because it is an Olympic year. Dozens of Olympic athletes received in "Scholarships amounting to NIS 8,000 a month instead of NIS 6,000 a month and we did not touch on that. We did not return to the normal amount of 6,000 and we did not cut there either."
