Paris Saint-Germain will face one of its tough hurdles in recent years tonight (22:00, Sport 5) when they host Manchester United at Old Trafford in the 5th round of the Champions League while in danger of relegation and must win the Red Devils .
The European runner-up is in second place in the eighth place with 6 points, 3 points less than Ola Gunnar Solskjaer and his teammates and is ahead of Red Bull Leipzig only because of a better goal difference.
"We come to Old Trafford to win, not just to get a good result and winning here is one of the toughest challenges in the world," Tuchel said at a pre-match press conference.
The French champions have scored one point in their last two games in the French league and last week managed with a lot of luck to beat Leipzig 0-1 at the Parc de France, however United have won their last four games in all competitions and scored 11 goals.
"Depending on Leipzig's result in Istanbul (against Shakhtar) our game could be a final. We have to be ready for a big battle."
To Tuchel's delight, the injury blow to the team was pretty much forgotten when only Thilo Kahrar, Juan Bernat, Pablo Sarabia and Julian Drexler were absent from the encounter.
The French are hoping Killian Ambape will break his drought in the factory when he has not scored in his last eight appearances in the Champions League when he did not score from last December.
"Maybe that's another reason why we're where we are. Killian has qualities, personality and the ability to score again. We'll have to be perfect to get 3 points."
