In a press release via the zoom, Hapoel Tel Aviv coach Nir Klinger looks tense and upset. Tomorrow evening he arrives with his weak team to Sami Ofer, where the table leader Maccabi Haifa is waiting for him.
"Our situation is clear to everyone, it is not good," Klinger began. "The team needs to recover and gather itself, ahead of the game against Maccabi Haifa, the team that is in the best shape in the country."
However, Klinger does not give up: "We will host this game accordingly. We will have to understand our situation to enter a state of survival and change the diskette. I think the last game caused a change in the understanding of the situation."
He added: "We will reach Sami Ofer to play brave and combative football and try to do our best. We are aware that Haifa is a favorite, but we will come as a team that understands its situation and try to get the best result for us."
