Artium Dolgofiat won today (Sunday) the European Instrumental Gymnastics Championships in ground exercise.
The 23-year-old gymnast received a score of 15,000 in the final and that was enough for him to rise to the top of the podium at the championship in Mersin, Turkey.
He improved on his achievement from 2019, then won a silver medal and this is his first gold in a significant competition.
Dolgofiat, which is considered a great hope for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, in fact continues to shine in international championships.
He has previously won two silver medals in the ground exercise at the World Championships and two silver medals at the European Championships.
