Licensed by AS Saint-Etienne at the beginning of the year, Stéphane Ruffier has found a club.
This is Aviron Bayonnais, currently in National 3 (fifth division).
Except that Ruffier will not be a guardian there, but an educator.
"His exclusive mission will be to create and then supervise a goalkeeper academy," proudly announced the training club of Ruffier (34), whom the latter had left before his majority for AS Monaco, where he was revealed to the end of the 2000s. It remains to be seen whether this implies that Ruffier, born in Bayonne, definitely hangs up his crampons.
