Doha Masters Tournament: Peter Placzyk qualifies for the semifinals, Uri Sasson was eliminated
The European champion up to 100 kg recorded two victories and will meet the decorated Georgian and Arlem Lipartliani. Sasson (over 100 kg) lost in the second round.

After Baruch Shmailov's silver medal and Sagi Muki's bronze medal, the Israeli judo team closes its way today (Wednesday) in the Masters tournament in Doha with four representatives.

(up to 100 kg) looked very good at the beginning of the day on the mat. The second round, to which he automatically qualified, was opened by the reigning European champion with a victory over Almer Gazimov of Azerbaijan, and in the quarterfinals he defeated Russian Armen Admian. Lou Georgi and Arlem Lipartliani, silver medalist Mario 2016 and European champion three times in the past.
Uri Sasson
(over 100 kg) failed to qualify for the later stages.
In the first battle, the 2016 bronze medalist defeated the Mongolian Dornbayer Olzibaier, but in the next stage he surrendered to Timur Rachimov from Tajikistan and finished his way in the competition.
Lee Kochman
(up to 90 kg) lost his first battle in the iPhone to Lasha in the Georgian Kauri.
Raz Hershko
also
(Up to 78 kg) Eliminated in the first round with a loss in the iPhone to Serbian Milica Zavic.
