Hapoel Holon announced today (Wednesday) the extension of Maxim de Zhao's contract until the end of the season.
The Belgian forward, who joined the team about two months ago, fitted in well with a team that put together a streak of victories.
Team coach Stefanos Dadas said of de Zhao: "We are delighted that Maxim has extended his contract until the end of the season. He has become a very significant factor with us in the last two amazing months.
He deserves to be a part of our club and we are really happy and proud to have that kind of player and personality. ".
Club chairman Eitan Lanciano: "We are very happy that we were able to sign Maxim and that he will be with us for the rest of the season, he is an excellent player and an exceptional personality.
"I am very happy that we were able to sign both Freddie Bourdieu and Maxim, who came to us on a temporary contract and connected in an extraordinary way to the team and the spirit of the club."
