The Basketball Association officially announced today (Wednesday) that the semi-finals of the State Cup will be held on February 11 at the Drive-in in Tel Aviv.
"In recent days, a number of alternatives have been examined and the decision has been made," the union said in a statement.

As you may recall, in the Cup semi-final draw that took place last week, it was determined that the semi-final games are: Maccabi Rishon Lezion - Hapoel Jerusalem, Hapoel Holon - Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Even before the semi-final draw, it was decided to split for the first time in many years between the semi-final games and the final game, which is scheduled to take place only in April.
What is at the center of the decision is the union's desire to bring an audience to the final game, along with maintaining the Cup games, and so it was decided to postpone only the final game.
It is estimated that by April, a certain number of spectators will be allowed to enter the games according to certain rules that will be determined in advance and that are being discussed between the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Health.
