The Chilean Football Association announced the departure of Colombian coach Reynardo Rueda.
The decision came after weeks of speculation that the former coach of Honduras, Ecuador, Flamengo and Atletico Medellin would return to coach Colombia again.
Carlos Queiroz left Colombia in December after two successive World Cup qualifiers.
Chile and Colombia each have four points from four matches in the qualifiers and are outside the places directly qualifying for the finals in 2022.
