Angers-PSG: a group still deprived of Rafinha

2021-01-15T13:37:43.218Z

Like Dagba and Kehrer, also affected by Covid-19, the Brazilian will miss the trip to Angers, this Saturday, in the league. But no

This is more good news for Mauricio Pochettino, in this dense period.

After winning the Champions Trophy on Wednesday night in Lens, dominating Marseille (2-1), the Argentine technician does not have to deplore new injuries.

This Friday, the club communicated the list of players unavailable for the championship trip this Saturday (9 p.m.), to Angers.

And for the second time in a row, it has not been enriched with any new name.

Thus, only five players will be missing: Rafinha, Thilo Kehrer, Colin Dagba (Covid), Juan Bernat (knee) and Alexandre Letellier (elbow).

The absence of Dagba, the last player affected by the Covid just three days ago, is logical.

That of Rafinha, who had tested positive twelve days ago, upon returning from vacation, emphasizes that no risk will be taken with him.

Mbappé spared?

Before finally benefiting from a little extra time to work before the match against Montpellier on Friday January 22, Pochettino will therefore be able to count on a rich workforce for this trip to Angers.

Against Marseille, he has indeed recorded the returns to competition of Kurzawa, Paredes, Danilo and especially Neymar, who came into play in the 65th and badly handled by Alvaro.

This meeting in Angers will therefore be for Pochettino the opportunity to make new choices in the men he will line up at the kickoff, like the tenure of Mauro Icardi, preferred to Kean against Marseille.

He could thus be tempted to blow Mbappé, in difficulty lately.

The Argentine technician will in any case be expected on his first decisions with an almost complete group therefore.
