Embombi stole the show already in the first game against Argentina, which was the first game of his team, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the World Cup.
At 1.92m tall and 110kg, he managed to score four goals in 11 minutes, and although the Africans eventually lost 28:22, everyone was talking about just one player.

"It's a dream come true," the handball player replied.
"I just do not believe. Shaq, my idol, thank you for the support. I do not even really understand what is happening, but just want to say - live the dream and fight for who you are."
Ambombi, the son of parents of Congolese descent, was born in France and currently plays in the fourth French league in its importance.
"I never thought it would happen to me," he said this week.
"My goal is to enjoy and give my best."
