Utah Jazz (4:10) - New Orleans Pelicans (8: 5) 102: 118
Say hello to the hottest team in the NBA.
After scoring over 20 threes for the fourth time in six games and recording a sixth straight win, the Hot Jazz also outscored the Pelicans, despite an excellent play by Zion Williamson.
In the first half New Orleans was still in the picture, but in the second half, Donovan Mitchell, Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles won over the range outside the arc which ended in a prestigious victory.
Mitchell finished with 28 including 4 of 7 off the arc, and also added 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Clarkson finished with 18 on 4 of 9 off the arc and also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
Ingles contributed 15 from the bench (5 from 6 to 3) and Rudy Guber contributed 13 and 18 rebounds.
On the other hand, Zion who scored 32 in 14 of 19 from the field (73%) became the youngest player in league history with at least two games of 30 points or more on more than 70% from the field.
In addition, he is the first player in the history of the franchise to do so.
Unlike previous games, this time the New Orleans assist team didn’t really hit;
Brandon Ingram finished with 17, Eric Baldesso with 9 and Stephen Adams with only 6.
Denver Nuggets (7: 7) - Oklahoma City Thunder (7: 6) 101: 119
Only three quarters were enough for Nikola Jukic and the Denver Nuggets in the win over OKC.
After three quarters and a handsome contribution of 27 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists, Mike Malone decided to put the Joker aside, and he saw the entire fourth quarter off the bench.
Even without him the Nuggets got along, probably after plays in the second and third quarters that ended in a big advantage for Denver.
Jamal Marie, who played 20 minutes in total, finished with 5 points;
Monte Morris scored 15 from the bench and Paul Millsap and Will Burton finished with 13 each.
Logenets Dort finished as a ballet slinger for the Thunder with 20, Shay Gilges Alexander finished this time with just 14, to which he also added 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
