Premiere victory to cheer Katsch in the Euroleague in his first home appearance as coach of Panathinaikos after the Greeks easily defeated the last in the Moscow Khimki table, 78:94.
Pao enjoyed a great game by Costas Mitoglou with 29 points, 12 rebounds and an index of 42. Nemanja Nedovic added 21.
Himki appeared in a very lacking lineup and without its big star Alexei Sheved when Andrei Maltzev made his debut on the lines of the Russian team after the dismissal of Remas Cortinitis.
It was Himaki's 12th straight loss.
In another game the surprise of the season achieved another victory. Zenit St. Petersburg defeated Anadolu Zero 78:85. Will Thomas scored 14 points for the winner and Kevin Pangos added 13.
