But the good season for Desa and other players at Vitsa, is actually a honey trap for the club.
Vitsa has been suffering from financial problems recently, and on Tuesday it was reported in the Dutch media that the financial troubles could affect the decision-making regarding contract extensions for the key players in the team.
No fewer than ten senior players, including Desa, will end their contract at Arnham in the summer of 2022.
This means that in order to survive, the team will have to sell some of its outstanding players this coming summer.
"We are definitely looking forward to selling some players in the summer, but I estimate there will also be players who will extend a contract. Everyone has their own interest," Vitsa technical director Johannes Spurs said on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Desa may be one of the older players on the team, but he does not hide his ambitions to move to a more senior league.
Desa recently stated that he dreams of playing in the Spanish league, and that may be what he is aiming for.
The question is whether at his relatively advanced age, he will still have a demand.
According to the Transfermarkt website, the market value of Dassah is estimated at only 900,000 euros - a lower amount than its market value when he played for Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2018, and its value reached 1.5 million euros.
For comparison, Vitsa alone has seven players whose market value is higher.
But if Desa maintains stability throughout the season, he may fulfill another dream.
