The time it took for the SV Wildsteig ski racer to finish yesterday's World Cup giant slalom on Kronplatz (South Tyrol) after the first round meant 31st place.
This made it clear that Filser would not be allowed to compete in the final run.
Because according to the regulations, the best 30 drivers qualify for the second round.
In the end Filser (who started the race with start number 41) finished in 36th place with a time of 1: 08.84 minutes.
It should have been 78 hundredths faster to be among the top 30.
In the first split, Filser was 0.57 seconds behind - that meant 32nd place at the time.
In the further course the backlog added up.
None of the other German riders made it to the final either: Jessica Hilzinger (SC Oberstdorf / 1: 10.01) finished in 44th place out of 49 classifieds.
Leonie Flötgen (SC Starnberg) and Lisa-Marie Loipetssperger (WSV Munich) were eliminated.
Most recently, Andrea Filser caused exclamation marks in the giant slalom.
In both competitions in Kranjska Gora, she finished 22nd and collected a total of 18 World Cup points.
For the DSV it was the first point in this discipline since the resignation of giant slalom ace Viktoria Rebensburg.
