Anyone who is currently following the Premier League table will see one city in particular: Manchester.
City and United fight for the top of the table.
Although United already played one more game, they now suffered a major setback.
Against the bottom of the table Sheffield United the team of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær lost 1: 2 (0: 1).
The opening goal for the outsider by Kean Bryan (23rd) was able to compensate for Manchester's captain Harry Maguire (64th).
The goal of ex-Leipzig's Oliver Burke (74th) then caused the big surprise.
Manchester quarreled with the referee.
Goalkeeper David De Gea was prevented from coming out in front of the visitors' opening goal and referee Peter Bankes decided to continue playing.
On the other hand, a goal by Anthony Martial was withdrawn for a foul on keeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Only second win for Sheffield
The last time United lost to Arsenal in the league was on November 1.
For Sheffield United it was only the second win of the season.
The team had only scored five points from 19 games, but always stuck to their coach Chris Wilder.
For the first non-relegation place 17, Sheffield United separated another ten points.
Manchester United are runner-up, one point behind City, but a win for their city rivals would increase the lead to four points.
The "Red Devils", however, were lucky that their pursuers Leicester did not get more than 1: 1 (0: 1) at Everton in the parallel game.
Youri Tielemans (67th) equalized the lead by James Rodríguez (30).
