Betar Jerusalem players underwent corona tests this morning at the training complex in Beit Vagan. A number of players reported symptoms, passed the test and were released to their homes.

The training of the team planned for this morning was canceled and the players who are feeling well were given an individual work plan, which each will personally conduct at home.

Also, two people from the medical staff were found positive in an examination they conducted last night, and the Betar management is in constant contact with the leagues administration, which is supposed to receive appropriate instructions from the Ministry of Health.

At the moment, the team is waiting for the test results, but even now it seems that the existence of the league game on Saturday against Maccabi Petah Tikva is in doubt.

The outbreak in Betar began early last week with the infection of young actor Roi Padida, with whom Michael Ohana and Idan Vered were diagnosed as positive.

Along with the two medical staff members, the team currently has nine positives for Corona, and as mentioned a number of other players have complained of symptoms.
