Scores and loses, as always.

Bradley Bill continues to score almost at the pace he loses.

The NBA's king of baskets sniped 47 points tonight (Wednesday-Thursday), but even that was not enough for Washington, which lost 124: 106 to New Orleans and went down to the worst balance in the league (11: 3).

Bill took 37 shots from the field, handed out 6 assists, snatched 4 balls and tried to take on even more than usual in the absence of Russell Westbrook, but again found some staff around him not good enough, certainly not when six players are still in the Corona protocol.

Either way, Bill is already starting to lose patience.

If at the beginning of the season he spoke in moderation and optimism about the situation of the team, now he already sounds completely different.

"It's hard. I want to win. I just want to win. That's why I stayed here. I thought this was where I could do it," Bill said, on the verge of despair, and when asked if he was frustrated by the situation, he replied sarcastically, "Is the sky blue?"

Bill, who has been mentioned many times in recent years as a candidate to trade for a team with bigger ambitions than Washington, has been breaking absurd records in recent times.

Tonight he extended his streak of games with 40 points or more ending in a loss, to 10 games.

Note the sequence:

December 3, 2019: 42 points in loss to Orlando

January 26, 2020: 40 points in loss to Atlanta

January 28, 2020: 47 points in loss to Milwaukee

February 3, 2020: 43 points in loss to Golden State

February 23, 2020: 53 points in loss to Chicago

February 24, 2020: 55 Points in the loss to Milwaukee

February 28, 2020: 42 points in the loss to Milwaukee

January 6, 2021: 60 points in the loss to Philadelphia

January 8, 2021: 41 points in the loss to Boston

January 28, 2021: 47 points in the loss to New Orleans.

Bill claims that "our team is much better than its balance sheet currently shows. In any case, it is impossible to get such a balance."

When asked about the "problematic" body language he has been showing lately, Bill replied, "I just hate to lose. As long as we lose, keep seeing me make angry faces."

Either way, Bill no longer hides the disappointment from Washington's situation and its degree of competitiveness, and there seems to be someone who is already saying things explicitly on his behalf.

Thus, for example, his wife wrote after the loss: "Tired of it," in an unequivocal tweet.

After the game, Wizards coach Scott Brooks announced that at least two of the Wizards' six disabled players due to be included in the NBA's Corona protocol will return in the coming days.

Danny Abdia may be one of them.

"Our coaches make sure they stay fit in Washington. They work closely with them, and simulate real-time game situations with them, so they can get back to business as quickly as possible," Brooks said.

Last night, they analyzed Abdia's status in a podcast by American journalist Yaron Weizmann ("Bleacher Report"), which hosted "Athletic" reporter Fred Katz.

"I think Danny is impressive so far. He's good. The Wizards don't allow him to create and hold the ball too much because he plays near Westbrook and Bill, but when Westbrook doesn't play, he gets more touchdowns on the ball. He scores at a much higher percentage than expected. "Very well, even in the midst of the attack. He makes very quick decisions. He's making too many offenses right now, but you can see he understands defense. I'm convinced he's going to be a good guard and a good creator," said Katz, who tried to compare Abdia to a former NBA player.

"The best comparison for him is to Lamar Odom, but Danny is pretty unique. He's going to be a top five player in the NBA, I'm pretty sure of that. NBA people really like him. Every time I ask a scout or manager about him, everyone seems to be impressed with him. "Before the draft, they hold him even more now, and people who doubted him before the draft are already convinced of his potential after seeing him compete in the NBA. The league is enthusiastic about him, and I'm pretty sure he will be remembered as a very good choice in the draft."

Above all expectations.

Weizmann continued: "Before the draft he was compared to Danilo Glinari and I thought it was quite interesting. He leads a better ball than he shows in the NBA so far, but the comparison to Luka Doncic has hurt him because it is not fair. Just because he is not from the United States "Compare him to Luka Doncic."
