The two clubs have found common ground for the transfer of Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu. He should sign up with Stade Rennai

In negotiations since the start of the transfer window for the transfer of Alidu Seidu to Brittany, Stade Rennais and Clermont have reached an agreement.

As L'Équipe announces, we can confirm that the two clubs are now on the same wavelength.

The transfer fee would amount to 11 million euros excluding bonuses for the Ghanaian international who is currently playing in the CAN and who will therefore not be immediately available for Julien Stéphan.

An indisputable starter within the Auvergne club which he joined in 2019, the versatile defender, capable of both playing in the center or the right lane, should sign up with Rennes upon his return from selection.

At the same time, Rennes leaders have continued discussions with Azor Matusiwa and his entourage in a good atmosphere in recent hours.

While an agreement has already been reached with Stade de Reims around compensation of 15.5 million euros (excluding bonus), the transfer of the Dutch midfielder should be concluded in the coming hours.

It remains to be seen whether Matusiwa will be qualified in time to participate in the reception of OM this Sunday January 21 in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
