In 2019, Algeria won the African Championship, two years later it was eliminated in the group stage and this time it hopes to avoid a similar fate, when tonight (Saturday) it recovered from a dramatic 2:2 loss against Burkina Faso in the fourth group.
Angola got closer to the round of 16 with a 2:3 win over Mauritania, while Tunisia will meet Mali in the fifth round.

The foals already smelled a second consecutive victory and a guaranteed ticket to the round of 16, but in extra time they forgot to watch for Baghdad Bunjah who scored his second of the game and saved Algeria from a loss.
