Skier Bernie Solosh underwent a 4-hour surgery after the training accident
The Olympic skier, Israeli Barnabash (Bernie) Solush, who this week seriously injured his face during a crash during training for the downhill competition in Austria, underwent a long operation yesterday (Friday) after suffering facial fractures and a concussion.
His father, Peter, updated: "Bernie is in stable condition after undergoing a four-hour operation. He is recovering in the hospital, surrounded by his family and friends. The family greatly appreciates all the warm wishes received."

The Ram Magen yachtsman is the runner-up of the World Junior Champion in the Blazer model
Ram Magen, 17 years old, won the silver medal in the ILCA6 World Youth Boat Championship, which ended tonight in Argentina.
This is Magen Badam's first international medal.
"Already at last year's world championship I proved to myself that I have a place at the world summit and this year I took another step forward," Magen said, "I'm really excited to stand on the podium and wave the flag."
Next month, Magen will participate in the European Senior Championship and try to get the ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris.
