The Red Star Belgrade season did not go as planned for Barak Becher and his Israeli team, and the coach was fired after only a few months.
But the one who does manage to flourish in the uniform of the team from the capital of Serbia is the Israeli goalkeeper Omri Glazer, who so far has not had a bad season at all.
According to a report in the Spanish "AS", Glazer's good ability has not gone unnoticed by the managers of Real Betis and Sevilla, who are closely monitoring the Israeli goalkeeper, whose contract with the Red Star ends on June 30 of this year.
In fact, professionals from Seville, who came to the conclusion that the goalkeeper position needs significant strengthening this summer, followed Glazer in the last year and even traveled several times to watch him in Belgrade.
Regarding Real Betis, "AS" notes that the need for a goalkeeper arose following Claudio Bravo's decision to hang up his shoes this summer and move to the professional team.
The team realized that they needed a goalkeeper who would carry the burden together with the Portuguese Rui Silva who has a contract until the end of 2026. When, as in Seville, the fact that Glazer will be a beach player this summer is a significant advantage in the considerations.
