A sad morning in Israeli basketball:
coach Lior Liubin passed away today (Monday) at the age of 46 after a battle with a serious illness, and the entire industry bows its head.
The coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv, Danny Franco, said goodbye to Liubin: "What a sad morning. Beyond a coach who made a straight and deep path from an outstanding player to a leading coach, Lior was one of the kindest, humblest, special ones I knew. A family man who was always loved and appreciated by those around him. A great loss To the beautiful Israel. Thinking of the family and not believing that I am writing, may his memory be blessed."

Really sad."
As a coach, he won Yovin in the Balkan League three times (twice with Gilboa/Galil and with Hapoel BS), as a player with Maccabi Tel Aviv he won a championship and a cup. In his last position he coached Hapoel Beer Sheva.
