Beitar Jerusalem beat Hapoel Tel Aviv 0:1 this evening (Monday) in a match held at Bloomfield Stadium. The match itself was uneventful, but it turns out that a big drama took place before it.
The Israel Police announced this evening that even before the game, Ayalon area police officers managed to seize a large amount of pyrotechnic devices that could cause injury to the body and mind.
When some of the measures were caught in shoes and in low places.
The seized devices include 18 naval flares and fireworks and 2 smoke grenades.
As a result, 11 suspects were arrested.
In the photos published by the police, it can be seen that some of the seized means are standard military equipment that made its way from the IDF warehouses to the field.
The Israel Police stated: "The Israel Police will act with zero tolerance towards any manifestation of violence and risk to life, we will act hard with the law breakers and will exhaust the law with them to the end."
It should be noted that despite the many efforts, a number of flares were lit in the Bloomfield stands this evening, but were thrown onto the field.
