The basketball referees in the professional leagues are divided into two squads, an elite squad and a national squad.
The judges who are on the elite staff receive a fixed monthly base salary of NIS 2,250 (11 months a year), while judges who are on the national staff earn a monthly base salary of NIS 1,470.
Beyond that, the referees receive 2,500 shekels for each game in the Premier League, while 1,500 shekels for a game in the national league.

And what about women?
For each match in the Women's Premier League, the referees receive NIS 850, while in the national league, NIS 380.
In the other games and leagues for men and women - League A, B, the youth leagues, the boys and girls, the referees receive the same salary of NIS 284 per game.
In training games there is a different rate: 900 shekels for a match of teams from the major leagues, and 680 for a match of teams in the national league.
A training match in the Women's Premier League will put 500 shekels in the referee's pocket.
In all other training games in the various leagues NIS 284.
The referees' critics in the men's and women's super leagues receive a salary of 420 shekels, and in the other leagues 240 shekels per game.
